A personal note
My story
At 13 years, I taught myself graphic design and started to offer up my design services online. At 17, I taught myself content creation, branding and social media marketing and became a successful cosplayer, reaching over 300k followers on Facebook, building brand partnerships and attending conventions as an invited guest. My marketing experience allowed me to immediately dive into my career after finishing highschool. Instead of studying, I started building my tech career and founded my first company at the age of 20. At 22, I founded another company, Videobesuch, a videocall app for nursing homes, alleviating the pain of social distancing throughout the pandemic. Videobesuch quickly became profitable, winning the largest hackathon in the world and securing partnerships with esteemed companies such as Vodafone, Caritas and MediaMarktSaturn. My experience at Videobesuch is something I still hold dear today, since we were able to achieve such a grand social impact through our solutions.
Afterwards, I went on to lead teams as a product manager, team lead and later VP at VentureLabs, building on top of my leadership skills and finding my next big passion within it. Since then, I have been focused on leadership, writing expert articles and mentoring others on the topic.
The press has acknowledged my work extensively and as such I have appeared in BILD, Welt, Kölner Stadtanzeiger, RTL and Saarbrücker Zeitung. Additionally, my work has been acknowledged as part of several competitions and has been awarded “Voice of a new era of leaders”, “DotComm Award”, “WebExcellence Award” and the “Online Design Award”. I have also spoken about my experience as part of a tedX talk.
